Night Vision Operations Course

This 2-day training was developed for officers who already have the basic capability to use night vision and thermal in patrol and tactical situations. This course is intended to be a next step for officers to further develop their ability to move, shoot, and communicate while using night vision. This course will include limited classroom, live fire range drills, practical exercises, and force-on-force scenarios to provide opportunities for officers to leverage the capabilities that night vison and thermal can bring in resolving high risk situations in low-light and no-light environments. We will address the use of night vison and thermal in both rural and urban areas. The scenarios will include Hostage Rescue, Dangerous Suspect at large, Barricade suspect, and warrant service.
