SUMMARY:2-Day Observe / Diagnose / Remedy - Pistol Course
DESCRIPTION:The majority of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors are not set up for success in teaching their audience on how to improve their shooting performance – they are training to get through a lesson plan. This course will shift that paradigm and put the students’ performance first. \nThe Two-day Observe – Diagnose – Remedy training course is designed to teach problem solving skills to current L.E. Firearms Instructors on how to identify and fix shooters’ deficiencies. This course will focus on the importance of hard skills\, various current and new instructional methodologies\, incorporating adult learning concepts\, and identifying patterns in shooters’ performances. \nDay One of this course will present the attendees with several current and new techniques on Observing\, Diagnosing\, and Remediating shooting deficiencies. Attendees will be given time to experiment with the Remediation drills\, so the shooter can increase his / her awareness of their own deficiencies. \nDay Two of the course will introduce shooters who are seeking improvement in their shooting performance. The attendees\, using the material from Day One\, will work with the shooters to Observe\, Diagnose\, and Remediate shooting complications – improving their instructional abilities and problem solving and the shooter in their shooting performance. \nEquipment requirements: \n● Handgun with 3 magazines\n● Holster and magazine pouches\n● Vest / body armor.\n● Minimum 600 rounds range ammunition\n● Ear and Eye protection\n● Appropriate Range Clothing\n● Note taking material

SUMMARY:Low-Vis/Covert Handgun Operations
DESCRIPTION:Plain Clothes | Low‑Visibility | Professional Use \nLOW-VIS HANDGUN OPERATIONS\, sponsored by the Wright County Sheriff’s Office\, is a performance-driven handgun course built for law enforcement officers and military personnel operating in plain‑clothes\, or off-duty environments where visibility equals vulnerability. \nThis course strips away range theatrics and overt tactical posturing\, replacing them with a disciplined focus on low-profile gun handling\, decisiveness under pressure\, and professional accountability. The mission is simple: operate competently\, safely\, and decisively when uniforms\, overt gear\, and clear identifiers are gone. \nIf your day-to-day reality includes concealed carry under civilian clothing\, unstructured environments\, and the requirement to act without drawing attention until it matters\, this course is for you. \nIntended Audience \n\nSworn law enforcement officers (narcotics agents\, violent crime investigators\, gang investigators)\nMilitary personnel (active\, reserve\, or veteran)\nArmed professionals operating off‑duty or in investigative/protective roles\n\nThis is not a public concealed‑carry fundamentals class. Students are expected to arrive with existing proficiency with handguns\, sound judgment\, and a professional mindset. \nTraining Focus (High‑Level) \n\nOperating a concealed handgun in plain‑clothes environments\nManaging performance without overt tactical indicators\nEquipment selection and integration for low‑visibility roles\nDisciplined gun handling under realistic conditions\nDecision‑making\, restraint\, and accountability\nSafety‑driven performance standards\n\nTraining emphasizes efficiency\, composure\, and legality in line with professional expectations—not square-range habits. \nRequired Equipment \n\nConcealable duty‑grade handgun\nSecure concealed‑carry holster suitable for professional use\nMagazine carrier\nEye and ear protection\nPlain‑clothes attire appropriate for movement and concealment\n1000 rounds of handgun ammunition\n\nBottom Line \nWhen your environment doesn’t allow uniforms\, overt gear\, or clear lines\, your skills must hold up without drawing attention. Covert Handgun Employment is designed for professionals who understand that competence in plain clothes is a separate and demanding skill set. \nThis is training for those who live in the gray space—and intend to dominate it responsibly.
