OSHKOSH Training – Day 3 – Faith Facility – Security Program Development
May 9 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm$35.00
With the ever-increasing threats towards and against our Faith and Church communities we need an open and frank discussion to pass along information, address current issues and honestly look at making our places of worship secure. Violence and threats on all levels are on the increase and facilities cannot conduct business as usual. There are a variety of steps that can be taken to lessen the risk or formulate a response plan for greater safety.
Church Security Professionals will be conducting an 8 hour program on Church Security and Safety. The first 2 hour will be a presentation on Church / Facility Safety and program concepts. The next 2 hours will be a new training program entitled “Tactical Discernment” specifically designed for Faith and Church Security programs to include Greeters, Ushers and Security Staff. The last several hours we will conduct several in class exercises and allow time for an open discussion to answer specify questions that may arise.
Who should attend: All pastoral staff, Ushers, Greeters, elders, deacons and faith security personnel.
