2-DAY Instructor Development – Observe – Diagnose – Remedy
August 16 @ 8:00 am - August 17 @ 5:00 pm$475.00
Mission Critical Concepts is proud to announce a New Firearms Instructional update course for 2023.
The majority of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors are not set up for success in teaching their audience on how to improve their shooting performance – they are training to get through a lesson plan. This course will shift that paradigm and put the students’ performance first.
The Two-day Observe – Diagnose – Remedy training course is designed to teach current L.E. Firearms Instructors how to identify and fix shooters’ deficiencies. This course will focus on the importance of hard skills, various current and new instructional methodologies, incorporating adult learning concepts, and identifying patterns in shooters’ performances.
Day One of this course will present the attendees with several current and new techniques on Observing, Diagnosing, and Remediating shooting deficiencies. Attendees will be given time to experiment with the Remediation drills, so the shooter can increase his / her awareness of their own deficiencies.
Day Two of the course will introduce shooters who are seeking improvement in their shooting performance. The attendees, using the material from Day One, will work with the shooters to Observe, Diagnose, and Remediate shooting complications – improving their instructional abilities and problem solving and the student in their shooting performance. RDS pistols will be addressed as well.
Equipment: Duty Handgun with three magazines, duty belt with magazine pouches, duty or tactical vest, eye, and ear protection, and note taking material.
Ammunition: 300 rounds handgun training ammo.
